Congratulations to the Brethern who took place in the Final of the bowls competition on Monday the 6th September. The team for Lodge Anima were Brothers Anthony Evans, James Findlay, Bryan Ferguson, and Alex Williamson. It was A very close contest between Lodge Anima and there opponents Lodge Clydesdale. But with three ends to play and being three shots down our skipper Alex Williamson played A magnificent last bowl to take the only shot they had in the head to get a 7 giving Anima a 4 shot lead, and with getting 1 shot at the next end we were 5 shots up going into the last end we were never going to lose a 5, we lost a 3 and won the game by 2 shots, a special mention to Jim Findlay as he was our most consistent player on the night. Once again well done to our boys for taking Lodge Anima's name and pride forward yet again

The R.W.M would like to thank all the Brethern who accompanied him to Lodge Anima London 3634. On Tuesday the 15th of September, He would also like to thank the Worshipful Master and the Brethern of Lodge Anima London. For the welcome they showed Lodge Anima Glasgow 1223 on the night. I can honestly say it was a most memorable evening, and that we hope to see the Brethern of Lodge Anima London in the future. And special thanks to Brothers Alan Taylor, John Laing. And not to forget the piper Brother Robert Walker of Lodge Shettleston St Johns thank you Brethern for making the trip with us. |

I would like to thank the Brethern off Lodge Possilpark 1330. For coming along on Wednesday the 7th of October to carry out the M.M.M. Ceremony on Brother James Docherty. It was a fantastic Degree as you come to expect from the Brethern of Lodge Possilpark. It was also a great honour for the Brethern of Lodge Anima to offer four of Lodge Possilpark's Brethern Honoury membership the four Brethern were RWM. Bro Jake McDonald, PM Bro. William Brown, PM Bro. Brian Brown. PM Bro. John Knight which they accepted with pleasure. |

The RWM and Brethern of Lodge Anima would like to thank the Brethern of Lodge Blythswood. For coming along to carry out the 2nd Degree on Brother Alexander Robertson. It was a Really good degree and a great night was had by all. The Deputation was headed by Past Master Brother Matt Thompson. Could we also thank the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Alistair Henderson for coming along. As he was only appointed Provincial Grand Master last Thursday. Thanks to all the Brethern of Lodge Anima for all the hard work they put in on the night. I can say that a great night was had by all. |

I would like to thank the Brethern off Lodge Possilpark 1330. For coming along on Wednesday the 6th of January to carry out the E.A Degree. On Brother Alex Robertson. It was a fantastic Degree as you come to expect from the Brethern of Lodge Possilpark. It was also RWM Bro. Adam Dickson's first outing as RWM. He said at the start of the evening he was a bit under the weather. But i can assure you it never showed. As the Degree was outstanding thank's to all the Brethern for attending as the weather was not the best thank you all for your efforts. |

Brethern i have been asked by Pastmaster Brother James Wilson Pollok McLaren. To thank all the Brethern from Lodge Anima Glasgow 1223 for attending Provincial Grand Lodge on Tuesday the 2nd of February. To see him being presented with Honoury Grand rank Sword Bearer. By the Provincial Grand Master Brother Alistair Henderson Brother Jim on behalf of the Brethern of Lodge Anima i would like to congradulate you on getting this honour. As the work you have done not just for youe own Lodge but for Freemasonry in general i think merrits the honour you recieved on Tuesday the 2nd of February 2010. The Right Worshipful Master Bro. Derek O'Brien, and his Office Bearers, Past Masters, and Brethern of Lodge Anima Glasgow 1223. Would just like to thank all the Brethern who attended our Annual Instalation on Sataurday the 20th of February. The Right Worshipful Master Brother Derek O' Brien would also like to thank his two Installing Masters Brothers Ian D. Brockett and Alexander R. Robertson for a memorable day. We would also like to thank the Brethern who done the raffle for all there hard work they put in on the day. And a big thank you to Brother's Alexander Robertson and Michael MacDonald for the donation of the television for the 1st raffle. But more in particular to all the visitors who came along on the day and making it a huge success. THANK YOU ALL.

Robert Forbes who unfortunattly passed away to the Grand Lodge above. Thank you Brethern for the return of the regalia and for the effort you all put in to attend our meeting. Also sad news that another one of our Brethern Bro. Robert Houston passing to the grand Lodge above. Our thoughts are with there family's at this time.
